Siblings and birth together can be beautiful!

Depending on the environment and your family’s desires, older children can be beautifully involved in new baby’s arrival. This relationship doesn’t have to begin with jealousy or dislike!

During pregnancy and postpartum, invite big brother or sister to participate in reading stories to their new sibling, help with laundry or diaper changes, and bring mama snacks or water. When every family members shares in responsibility, they will feel confident and protective in their role!

Kids are smart - teach them about the biological functions of birth and pregnancy! They are not to little to understand how the human body has been created in such a marvelous way.
