The definition of marriage is this: A lifelong agreement made before God between a man and woman to become one mind and one body.

It is more than just a fancy dress and a fun party, signing an official piece of paper, or a sweet gesture between two people who are in love. It is a sacred covenant, specified in unmistakable terms from the beginning to the end of God's holy word.

The Biblical family unit is God's best plan for humanity, and every child deserves the right to be raised by both a father and a mother.

  • Marriage is established at creation. (Genesis 1:27)

  • Marriage is part of God's plan for humanity. (Exodus 20:12)

  • Marriage is defined by God himself. (Matthew 19:4-6)

  • Marriage is an example of the relationship between Jesus Christ and the church. (Ephesians 5:31-32)

  • Marriage has a crucial role from the beginning to the end of time. (Genesis 1:27-28 and Revelation 19:7-9)
